The Ogun State Government has commenced enumeration of all public and private properties across the twenty local government areas of the State for proper planning and equitable distribution of resources and basic infrastructure in the State.
The Commissioner for Finance and Chief Economic Adviser, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, who announced this in Abeokuta, noted that the exercise was necessary to help the present administration in its developmental plans and programmes.
Mr Okubadejo encouraged residents of the state to cooperate with the enumerators that would be visiting houses, offices and industries to collect necessary information required for the exercise.
He also appealed to home-owners, industries, offices and private estates in the state to allow enumerators into their properties and provide adequate information, noting that the development of the state required collective responsibility.
