The Chairman, Oyo State Task Force on Covid-19, Professor Temitope Alonge has blamed the rising profile of daily new cases in the state on the non compliance to laid down protocols.
Professor Alonge noted that the people were stubborn and disregard the use of nose masks which was to serve as prevention.
Speaking with newsmen in Ibadan on one year covid-19 situation in Oyo State , Professor Alonge who’s the immediate past Chief Medical Director of UCH, Ibadan explained that the government was playing its own role to carry out testing and care for the infected persons.
He added that added that the government was currently exermining the post treatment cases of covid-19 survivors as many of them reportedly come down with another ailments.
Professor Alonge however, advised the people to take their health seriously saying only the living would enjoy government’s initiatives and dividend of democracy.
