Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has taken an oath of office as the sixth elected Governor of Ondo State

Governor Akeredolu and the new Deputy governor elect, Lucky Ayedatiwa emerged victorious in the last year governorship election held on October tenth in Ondo State

The Oath of office was administered by the state chief judge, Justice Olanrewaju Akeredolu

Venue of the second term inauguration on Igbatoro road in Akure, the Dome was filled to capacity but in compliance with the covid-19 protocols

Security operatives both in uniform and otherwise were fully on ground to maintain peace and order

Dignitaries at the ocassion include Dr. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state, his Lagos counterpart, Babajide Sanwoolu, Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, Godwin obaseki of Edo State, Osun State Gboyega Oyetola, APC leader, Chief Bisi Akande and former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

The mother of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Mama Grace Akeredolu was also in Attendance

Shortly after Mama Akeredolu’s arrival, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu also arrived at the venue
