Two travelers were again abducted by gunmen on Ife/Ibadan Expressway at Wasinmi Area of Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State on Saturday evening.
It was gathered that the two travelers were accosted while they were on their way from Ile-Ife to Ibadan by gunmen who took them to the nearby bush.
A security source revealed that three of the perpetrators had been arrested, while effort was ongoing to arrest others.
When contacted, the spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident adding that the police have rescued the two victims that were abducted.
Mrs Opalola said men of the force responded to a distress call and moved in to rescue two victims and arrested three suspects.
