The Resident Electoral Commissioner for INEC in Delta State, Pastor Monday Udoh-Tom, says the commission would resist any attempts by political parties to switch names of winners in ongoing primaries for Isoko North Constituency By-Election.

Mr. Udoh-Tom stated this in an interview with Radio Nigeria on preparations for the by-election in Isoko North State Constituency slated for the 10th of April, next month.

The REC noted the by-election was necessitated following the demise of the Member representing Isoko North Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Tim Owhefere, saying the commission had received Notice of Death, and had posted Notice of Election to the public thirty days before the commencement of the polls.

He added that political stakeholders were the key actors in the exercise, pointing out that the success of the by-election would depend largely on their electioneering conduct.
