Civil servants have been enjoined to improve on their saving culture to enable them cater for future challenges.

Acting Zonal Director, Federal Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan Zonal Station, Mrs Bolanle Owoyemi gave the advice at the twenty-eighth Annual General Meeting of Radio Nigeria Staff ICCS Limited held at the Studio One of the Broadcasting House, Dugbe, Ibadan.

Mrs Owoyemi explained that it was imperative for government workers to spend wisely and increase their savings so as to be able to meet up with upcoming expenses like payment of school fees, housing and retirement.

In an address, Director, Federal Department of Cooperating, represented by Mrs. Omolara Abimbola-Oguntuyi urged members of the cooperative to be united and act within the laws guiding the operation of the society.

Earlier in an address, President, Radio Nigeria Staff ICCS Limited, Mr. Akinjide Akinsola, who noted that the cooperative society under his watch recorded huge surplus despite the Covid-19 pandemic that paralized economic activities in 2020, stated that training of members on cooperative education would be priortized in the new financial year.
