Traders at popular Araromi Spare Parts Market, Agodi Gate, Ibadan, Oyo State want the state government to relocate the market to a bigger and spacious place to prevent future occurrence of fire disaster. 

Two traders, Mr. Wasiu Agbolagade and Abideen Akande stated this in an interview with Radio Nigeria while reacting to the fire disaster that engulfed the market. 

Mr. Agbolagade and Akande attributed the fire disaster to power surge from electricity cable.

Also speaking, spare parts dealers, Mr. Taofik Ajisafe and Mrs Yetunde Oyeleke lamented the havoc that fire disaster had caused and solicited support from government.

All the shops at the market were totally razed as goods worth billions of naira engulfed by fire.

As at time of filing this report, traders were seen gathering together to ascertain the degree of loss and sympathizers were there to console the traders.
