FG Extends Work-from-Home Directive till Month End

Federal Government has directed officers on Grade Level 12 and below to continue to work from home till the end of April and await further directive.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan following advice from the Presidential TaskForce (PTF) on COVID-19.

The statement says the directive became necessary with regard to maintaining the reduction of reported cases.

Meanwhile, all officers are reminded to adhere to other preventive measures prescribed in previous circulars which are in force.

Maintenance of physical distancing, regular washing, sanitizing of hands, wearing of face masks/shields, and reducing the number of visitors.

Permanent Secretaries and Chief Executive Officers are enjoined to bring the contents of the circular to the attention of all concerned and ensure strict compliance.
