Tamunominini Makinde Distributes Food Stuffs to Muslim Widows

The wife of the Oyo state Governor, Mrs Tamunominini Makinde has distributed foodstuffs to some Muslim Widows in the State.
Mrs. Makinde through the wife of the Chief Imam of the Government House Mosque, Alhaja Suwebat Adebayo, made the distribution at her Office ,Government House Road, Ibadan.
She said remembering the less privileged especially the widows during Ramadan was a good gesture saying that the initiative would serve as succor to all Muslims who were fasting and a token of love in contributing to the life of the vulnerable ones.
Mrs. Makinde however assured the widows that she would not stop in rendering assistance to them in order for them to feel the positive impact of the present government in Oyo State.
In her response, the Amirah Government House Mosque, Alhaja Lateefat Adekunle said that it was only the grace of the Almighty Allah for any woman who lost her husband to be great and become successful in life, because, according to her, husband is the head of the family who provides for his immediate family members.
In her response, the founder of Khaliyat widows centre, Hajia Iyabode Aliu lauded the First Lady for her love towards the Muslim widows.
