Old and new residents of Warri metropolitan city in Delta State, have decried the neglect and departure of multinational companies among other factors leading to a downturn in economic activities in the area.
They made this known while participating at a virtual meeting launched from the ancient city, where they deliberated on the current state of the city and the need to maximize the Warri brand.
Oghenero Eghweree reports that the summit which drew participants from within and outside the country was held with the theme: Why Not Warri?
