The federal government has been called upon to come up with a national summit to address issues confronting the country.

The Diocesan Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Communion, The Most Reverend Segun Okubadejo made the call while delivering the Bishop’s Charge of the second session of the Eighth Synod of the diocese.

According to   the Most Reverend Okubadejo, the National Summit if conveyed  would discuss issues of equal rights, justice and equity.

He said for Nigeria to remain an entity, the citizens must not be oppressed and the resources of the nation would be distributed equally.

The Most Reverend Okubadejo stressed the need for all tiers of government to provide enabling environment for small businesses to survive.
