Three persons have been reportedly killed in Ogun State by gunmen suspected to have links with alleged perpetrators of the recent killings at Igangan, Oyo State. 

Some residents who spoke with Radio Nigeria alleged that the villagers were murdered at Amule Kanji village, close to Imeko town in Imeko/Afon Local Government Area of the State by suspects who came into the area through neighbouring communities along the Ogun – Oyo States borderline. 

The residents maintained that the victims were riding a motorcycle from Ologede village to Imeko when they were attacked by suspected killer herdsmen who also took away their motorcycle after the killing. 

Also, The Balogun of Imeko Isale, Chief Ganiu Akinleye who confirmed that the incident happened around 11 pm, yesterday (Sunday) claimed that the police were there to evacuate the corpses.

When contacted by Radio Nigeria, the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr Abimbola Oyeyemi said his office was yet to get details of the killings.
