Activities have resumed at the Ogun state house of Assembly following the suspension of industrial action embarked upon by the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria.
The members had joined their counterparts across the state of the federation to embark on strike over the non- implementation of financial autonomy for state legislatures as enshrined in the Constitution.

In a communique signed by the National president  of the union,Mr Mohammed  Usman said the action was suspended to facilitate the passage of necessary legislations as contained in the  memorandum of action, noting that the action was only suspended for just 45 days.

Speaking on the development,State chairman  of PASAN, Mr. James Obanla  said the suspension was to give  room for further negotiations towards the smooth take off of the autonomy.

The National Executive Council of the Union declared an industrial action on Tuesday, 22nd March directing all its State chapters to boycott official activities until the implementation of the Executive Order 10 signed by President Muhammadu Buhari last year.
