Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde says his administration is making significant progress in its effort to address challenges of insecurity in the state
He said this when members of the national assembly from Oyo state under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) paid him a courtesy visit at the secretariat, Ibadan.
Governor Makinde who said his administration had continued to strengthen security architecture in the state.

Governor Makinde urged members of the national assembly to regularly meet with their constituency to reduce pressure on the state government.
He noted that he would have preferred a meeting with all members of the national assembly from Oyo state across political parties to share thoughts and vision for the state and reduce the level of misinformation in public space .
Earlier, speaking on behalf of other members, Senator representing Oyo South senatorial district, Dr Kola Balogun lauded the effort of the Governor on good governance across all sectors within two years in office saying Governor Makinde has moved the state forward in terms of performance ranking.
Senator Balogun also promised that members of the national assembly from the PDP would not relent in complementing the effort of the present government in the state at ensuring a better Oyo state.
