Osun State House of Assembly has concluded screening excercise  for nominees in 67 Local Government and Local Council Development Area in the state.

The Speaker, Mr. Timothy Owoye advised all the nominees to work together with Lawmakers in their constituencies to fast track development of their Local Government and the State.
Two Local Government and two Local Council Development Area were screened.
They are Ilesa East local government, Ejigbo local government, Ejigbo South local council development Area and Ejigbo West Local council development Area.
Nominees stepped down from Ola-Olaoluwa Local Government for Chairmanship position and Members from Ifedayo local government were also screened during the plenary.

 Lawmaker representing Ejigbo raised issues on the Curriculum vitae of the Secretary nominee from Ejigbo for claiming to have stepped down for the lawmaker during House of Assembly member election in 2019.
The Speaker, Mr Timothy Owoeye  advised the Secretary nominees from Ejigbo West local council development Area to remove the paragraph where he stated that he stepped down for lawmaker representing Ejigbo for peace to reign.
Mr. Owoeye appreciated his colleagues for their zeal and commitment to move the state forward through effective legislation.
The Speaker, therefore, directed the Clerk of the House to present a clean copy of names of nominees on Monday for confirmation.
