International education promotes broad acquisition of knowledge, intercultural skills and peaceful coexistence across the globe.

This assertion was made by the Director, Student Recruitment and Admission Division, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Dr. Kasim Abdul-Jalil in an online interview with Radio Nigeria.

Dr. Abdul-Jalil explained that the institution, situated at Johor, Malaysia, recognized the advantages of international education, and had been inspired to organize a special recruitment programme to draw more African students to the university.

He said the university, which currently had over 5000 international students out of which over 400 were Nigerians, had scheduled an online session for the next two Saturdays of the month.

Dr. Abdul-Jalil stated further that the first session would hold this Saturday via zoom at seven o’ clock in the morning, while the second session is slated for next week Saturday at the same time and platform.

The Director noted that participants would benefit from multiple advantages during the exercise as his team would be answering questions on programmes, fees, visa, scholarships and other related issues.

He said the university had partnered credible organizations to make the programme a success, while qualified participants would be offered instant admissions.

Dr. Abdul-Jalil added that interested persons or parents should check for more information on the event website, www.arrowstransactions.com/edufair-africa/
