LG Elections: Voters Turn Out En Masse in Ikene

As local government elections started in Ogun State, eligible voters turn out en masse in Ikenne Local Government Area of the state to exercise their civic responsibility. 

Our Correspondent Bolanle Adesida who visited Ogere ward 6 and 7 as well as Iperu ward 5 in Ikenne local government area of the state, reports that voting started exactly at 8am in all the polling units visited.

People of the area complied with restrictions of movement, while police officers were at the various polling units to maintain law and order.

Some of voters who spoke with Radio Nigeria, Mr. Olugbenga Onadeko and Mrs. Folashade Odunmuyiwa commended Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission, OGSIEC, for early arrival of the voting materials.
