Ogun Police Arrest 18-Year-Old Man For Murder

The police in Ogun State have arrested an eighteen-year-old, Jamiu Malomo, for the alleged killing of a twenty-year-old lady, Azeezat Akande in cold blood. 

According to the Ogun Police Command Spokesman Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi in a statement in Abeokuta, the suspect was arrested by the Adatan Divisional Headquarters after a complaints lodged by the chairman of a community association at Oke Aregba Abeokuta, that a lifeless body of a young lady, stabbed on a rock was sighted in the area, with a knife beside the body. 

He said crack detectives embarked on intelligence and forensic investigations to unravel the mystery behind the gruesome murder of the deceased. 

According to him, the suspect was arrested at a bar around Panseke area of Abeokuta, where he was trying to pick another call-girl. 

Mr. Oyeyemi said the suspect who was just released from prison custody last month, confessed to killing the deceased after a hot argument between them on the price to be paid after an overnight sex romp.

Meanwhile, the Ogun State Police and Commissioner, Mr. Edward Ajogun has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to homicide section of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation.
