Ogun State House of Assembly, OGHA, has approved the 2022-2024 State Medium Term Expenditure Framework sent to the lawmakers for consideration by the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
The financial framework was unanimously approved at a plenary presided over by the Speaker of the House, Mr. Olakunle Oluomo, after the presentation of the report of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation by its Chairman, Mr. Olakunle Sobunkanla.
Mr. Sobunkanla, thereafter moved a motion for the adoption of the report, which was seconded by Mr. Solomon Osho and supported by the whole House through a voice vote.
The Speaker then directed the Clerk of the House, Mr. Deji Adeyemo to convey the Assembly’s resolution to the Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Mr Olaolu Olabimtan for the preparation of the year 2022 appropriation bill of the state.
It would be recalled that, the lawmakers had engaged the Budget Commissioner about two weeks ago on the modalities for the 2022-2024 State Medium Term Expenditure Framework, MTEF.
