The second edition of the Ibadan Community Football Championship will come up before the end of the year.
The media coordinator of the tournament, Mr. Sunday Agunbiade, made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan.
The statement notes that the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mr. John Ogunleye, says the competition is designed to strengthen the existing peace among residents of the Ibadan interior and urged interested clubs to register for the competition.
“Ibadan is not only an ancient city but a city with a rich history of culture and traditions. It welcomes everyone including foreigners to succeed beyond bound, therefore, we should further consolidate the identity with this tournament”, the statement added.
Irepodun Alaja Community Moniya won the maiden edition of the competition in 2019.
