Ogun state police command says it has arrested one microfinance bank official in abeokuta, olagoke dare for planning with Mary Agbejo to rob him three million naira money belonging to his employer.
The command’s spokesman Mr Abimbola Oyeyemi who made this known to newsmen said the suspect was arrested following a distress call received by the DPO ibara police division Mr segun Ajao that the duo have been attacked by armed robbers in okelewo area of abeokuta where they have gone to withdraw the money.
Mr Oyeyemi explained that the DPO quickly mobilize his team to scene and arrested one idowu Tunde who was armed with mock gun with assistance from members of the public.
The police spokesman said the suspect confessed that Olagoke dare planned with them and gave them toy pistol to rob them.
Meanwhile, the acting commissioner of police Mr Alamatu has ordered the immediate transfer of the two suspect to criminal investigation department for further investigation and advised the companies to always endeavor to have full background information on their newly staff .
