The 10 Commissioner-nominees recently screened and cleared by the Oyo State House of Assembly are to be inaugurated by the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde tomorrow, Monday, 11th October 2021.
A source close to Government said that the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Executive Chambers of the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan.
The Commissioners to be sworn in are, Engr. Oluwaseun Temidayo Fakorede; Mr. Adeniyi Adebisi; Barr. Olasunkanmi Aremu Olaleye; Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun; Barr. Rahman Abiodun Abdul-Raheem.
Others are, Mr. Abiodun Oni; Prof. Musibau Adetunji Babatunde; Mr. Olusegun Emmanuel Olayiwola; Dr. Taiwo Olabode Ladipo and Alhaja Kafilat Omolabake Olayiwola.
Meanwhile, Local Government chairmen in Oyo state, have commenced distribution of stationeries to students across government-owned primary and secondary schools in the state.
The project, which was unanimously flagged off by the 33 local council chairmen to mark their 100 days in office, was said to be executed under the directive of the Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, towards ensuring a hitch-free learning process in the pacesetter state.
