A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo state, Dr. Fola Akinosun has identified reorientation and self-reformation of every Nigerian as major factors that could strengthen the country’s Democratic system.

He said with character reform and adequate Education,  our youth population will turn to our assets in Nigeria.

Dr. Akinosun stated this while featuring on a Radio Nigeria Ibadan political programme tagged political space.

He however, said the reorientation and reformation can only be achieved if there is gainful self-employment through solid educational system, especially for the youth.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for introducing  National Innovative Diploma of Board for Technical Education.

The philanthropist and grassroots politician who explained that he has over the years contributed his quota to the development and sustainability of the  nation through his scholarship investment programmes for the youth and called for a concerted effort that will prioritise quality education for all.

The Oyo south senatorial hopeful said the country had some of her problems as a result of the long years of colonial rule, coupled with ignorance and religion, which he said had divided the nation’s peaceful co-existence.

Dr. Fola Akinosun also advocated for a true federalism where each of the former regions becomes a state with her own constitution.

“then we would have (3) viable states of new Nigeria. The states  will have resource control and decentralised power to develop their domains, under the control of a true  federal  government”

Also during the interview, Dr. Akinosun congratulated the APC national leader and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the success of his medical trip abroad and commended the Akin-Oke and Fmr. Governor Alao akala led the Oyo state APC elders committee for display of experience and super maturity in handling of political affairs of the party since the start of party Congresses.
