Breaking: Bandits Break Into Oyo Prison, Set Prisoners Free

The correctional facility in Abolongo, Oyo, Oyo State was attacked by bandits Friday evening who set free all the prisoners therein.

Newspeakonline gathered that the bandits stormed the facility at about 10pm on Friday, attacking with grenades to gain access and set prisoners free.

Newspeakonline learnt that the attack left the facility in disarray with warders scampering for safety.
Other security agencies have since mobilized their personnel to support men and women of the Nigerian Correctional Service in tracking down the bandits and rearresting prisoners.
