Ogun State government has commenced distribution of appointment letters to 5,000 teachers employed through Ogun Teach Scheme.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Kunle Somorin indicates that distribution of letters to the first batch of successful candidates has kicked off.
The statement explains that introduction of Ogun Teach Intervention is to fill teacher vacancies in primary, secondary and technical colleges across the state.
It adds that the new teachers are expected to come with originals of their certificates, birth certificates or declaration of age, Certificate of Local Government origin and other proofs of identity.
It would be recalled that during the celebration of 2021 World Teachers Day, the Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun promised that the teachers would be given their letters of engagement.
