Former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, has called on the present administration in the state to focus more on projects and programmes that would be of great benefit to the people of the state.

Chief Osoba made the call at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos while receiving members of the Ogun State Executive Council who paid him a visit on his arrival from the United Kingdom after a successful knee surgery.

While expressing delight with the level of development in Ogun State, especially in the areas of road infrastructure, education, health and security, Chief Osoba urged Governor Dapo Abiodun to remain resolute in executing sustainable projects across the state.

The former governor who commended the present administration for its land reform programme noted that apart from discouraging land speculators, it would also allow the state to reap huge benefits from its land resources.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, had described the former governor as an elder statesman who has the interest of the state at heart.
