Ogun Government Begins Enforcement of Ban on Indiscriminate Parking

Ogun State government has commenced enforcement of the ban on indiscriminate parking of vehicles along Sagamu Interchange – Abeokuta expressway.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Kunle Somorin says the renewed enforcement of the ban is with immediate effect. 

The statement explains that the step is necessary to reduce incessant cases of avoidable accidents and provide a safe ambiance for the Gateway City Gate along the axis.

It says relevant agencies have been empowered to impound all affected vehicles parked along the expressway and arrest defaulters.

The statement advises owners of articulated vehicles on both sides of the road to remove them immediately to avoid impoundment and payment of fines.
