House owners in the Olorisaoko community and its environs have appealed to the Oyo State House of Assembly, OYHA, to expedite action on the ad-hoc committee report on the land acquisition by the state government.

The Baale, Olorisaoko Community and its environs, Chief Olayiwola Oluyemi, made the plea on behalf of the community while speaking with a Radio Nigeria correspondent.

Chief Oluyemi said the assembly had met with community leaders on the matter but is yet to implement the report of resolutions at the stakeholders’ meeting.

The Baale said the Olorisaoko Community is now living in fear as government officials are always sighted in the community.

Also speaking, a landlord, Mr. Wasiu Oluwayemisi who said the OYHA has assured them of fairness on the land acquisition, appealed to the government to come to their aid.
