Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has advised Nigerian women to take advantage of their numerical strength to contest for elective positions.

Governor Abiodun who gave the advice while receiving a group of people involved in activism against gender-based violence, led by his wife, Bamidele, urged the women not to allow themselves to be relegated.

Earlier, the wife of the governor Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun who said the group was against violence in any form, pointed out that the girl-child and women, as well as the boy-child and men, should be protected in the society.
