New FRCN Ibadan ZD Identifies Unity as Panacea to fulfilling Corporation’s Goals

For Radio Nigeria, Gold FM to move forward, the staff have a duty to work in love and unity of purpose towards fulfilling the mandate of the corporation.

The new Zonal Director, Ibadan National Station, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Mrs. Bolatito Joseph made the remark at a staff forum held today at the Broadcasting House, Gold FM, Ilesa.

Mrs. Joseph who encouraged the staff to keep the flag of professionalism flying, said any act of indiscipline would not be condoned by the management of the corporation.

She also charged them to work towards increasing internally generated revenue and continue to project the image of Radio Nigeria as the flagship of broadcasting in Africa.

Earlier, Assistant Director, Administration, Ibadan Zonal Station, Rev. Kayode Esho described the new zonal director as a round peg in a round hole, explaining that the maiden visit of Mrs Joseph to Gold FM was to further encourage and energize the staff for greater responsibilities in the broadcast industry.

However the atmosphere of the venue of the meeting was later charged as promotion letters were distributed to deserving members of the staff.
