Ogun State Administration of Physical Planning, Urban Development, Slum Regeneration and Building Production Management Law, 2021, as well as other four resolutions on building production management regulations,have been passed at the State House of Assembly.
The resolutions included the State Building Production Management Regulation 2020, the State Layout and Land Subdivision Regulation, State Planning and Development Permit Regulations, State Slum Regeneration and the State Outdoor Physical Physical Furniture Regulations.
The separate passage of the bill and resolutions followed the respective presentations of the reports of the House Committee on Lands and Housing by its Chairman, Mr Damilola Soneye at a plenary presided over by the Speaker, Mr. Olakunle Oluomo.
Mr Soneye moved the motion for the adoption of the two reports, seconded by Mr Olusola Adams and supported by other lawmakers through a voice vote.
The Speaker,Mr Oluomo in a remark had directed that the clean copy of the bill be transmitted to the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his assent.
Ogun State Administration of Physical Planning, Urban Development, Slum Regeneration and Building Production Management Law, 2021,was meant to regulate the practices of building sector.
