Osun State government has advocated a robust relationship between teachers and parents so as to improve students’ academic performance.
The state governor, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola stated this in Osogbo while declaring open the 31st annual congress of the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools, ANCOPSS.
Governor Oyetola who said there was the need for parents to complement teachers’ efforts, also tasked schools to leverage technology to promote teaching and learning as Covid continues to pose challenges to nations of the world.
ANCOPSS president, Mr. Emmanuel Ijaodola said the confederation would continue to support Oyetola’s administration for advancing the cause of quality education in the state.
A total of 468 principals across the state are expected to take part in the congress which aimed at finding ways of improving the state education sector.
