Well-meaning Nigerians have been called upon to give back to society and the schools from which they graduated.

The principal, Ibadan Grammar School, Molete, Ibadan, Mr. Olugbenga Oladejo stated this at the 40th reunion of the 76/81 set of the school held at the school hall.

Mr Oladejo commended the old students for remembering their Alma Mater and donating items to mark the anniversary.

Earlier, in an address of welcome by the class representative who doubles as the chairman of the planning committee, Mr Gbolahan Popoola said the donation was a way of giving back to the society and school that made them.

Similarly, an immediate past member of the House of Representatives Ifako/Ijaye Federal Constituency Lagos State, Mr Nurudeen Akinwumi described Ibadan Grammar School as a foundation that he cherished a lot.

The donation also included school uniforms to 105 students of the school, fabrics for all the teachers in the school, special gifts to all their teachers back then who were invited on the occasion and a special chair to the principal of the school.
