Imo State Governor, Mr. Hope Uzodinma says his administration has zero tolerance for corruption, nepotism and in-fighting among government appointees.

Mr Uzodimma was speaking in Owerri during the swearing in of 18 new commissioners recently screened and cleared by the State House of Assembly.

The governor charged the new commissioners to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties, in order to accelerate development in the state.

One of the new Commissioners, Ann Dozie, who spoke on behalf of her colleagues, promised they would discharge their duties with diligence to ensure the realization of the policy thrust of the government.

Governor Uzodimma had in May this year dissolved the State Executive council, though eight commissioners were asked to remain in their offices.
