As Nigerians are in high spirit to usher in 2022, governments at all levels have been mandated to prevent repeat of incessant bloodshed, ritual killings, kidnap for ransom and poverty which characterized the outgoing year.
The Assistant General Overseer in charge of African mission of the Gospel Faith mission International, GOFAMINT, Pastor Samuel Okomolehin( d m r m d) stated this in Ibadan during his introduction as the senior pastor of Basorun Assembly of the church.


Pastor Okomolehin  who attributed the increasing crime rate in country to high level of youth unemployment said government needed to provide jobs for the youth to curb the the ugly trend and  consider how to make life more better for the citizens  The pastor  sought the cooperation of the resident pastor and the assembly members, for the church to experience turnaround in the coming years.


In his sermon entitled, ‘the seventy return with joy”, Pastor Okomolehin urged the congregation to be closer to God for victory over the devil.
Performing the formal introduction earlier, the minister in charge of region eleven of The Gospel Faith Mission International, GOFAMINT, Pastor Amos Akangbe, said the formal introduction of the Pastor Okomolehin to the church was in line with the policy of the church.
He urged members of the congregation to support the senior pastor in his quest for the transformation of the church.

Until his return to Africa as the Assistant General Overseer of GOFAMINT churches in the continent till date, Pastor Samuel Okomolehin was former Europe Coordinator of GOFAMINT in Europe between 2014 and 2020.
