Nursing mothers have been urged to ensure exclusive breastfeeding for their children for at least six months.
Wife of Osun State Governor, Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola gave the advice when she paid a visit to first baby of the year 2022 at Asubiaro State hospital, Oshogbo.
Mrs. Oyetola said mothers should take good care of their children as well as give them quality education they could afford based on their income.

Mrs. Oyetola while congratulating the family of the new baby of the year, Mr. Ibukun and Mrs. Folakemi Joseph, advised parents to work together in the proper upbringing of their children as they are the future leaders.
The new baby of the Year who is a female child was born at 12am, weighing 2.8kg was presented with gifts and money.
Another female Baby belonging to the family of Mr. Soliu and Mrs. Zainab Salami was born at 2am weighing 2.3kg also received gifts from the wife of the Governor.
Other babies at the maternity ward were also presented with money and gifts including 25kg rice.
