A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential hopeful, Dr Sam Ohuabunwa promises to bring his age-long experience in public service to bear if given the opportunity to rule the country.

Dr Ohuabunwa who was in Osogbo, the Osun State capital to consult with members of the PDP in the state on his ambition, said the country needed men of vision at the helms of affairs, hence his decision to run for the presidency.

He lamented the high level of unemployment among the youths, saying it was a threat to national peace and unity.

Speaking on the propriety of rotating the presidency, the presidential aspirant said in the interest of peace, unity and inclusiveness, the country has to rotate certain offices between the north and the south.

The presidential hopeful noted that the PDP has a second chance to rule the country but must first embrace righteousness in its activities, stressing the need to focus on improving the lot of the masses.

In a remark, PDP Chairman in Osun State, Mr Sunday Bisi said the aspirant has the experience and capacity to change the fortunes of the nation.

Mr Bisi expressed optimism that Dr Ohuabunwa’s presidency would place the country for industrialization and economic turnaround.
