Three persons have died in an auto crash that occurred on Isaara bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Ogun State Command, Mrs Florence Okpe who confirmed the incident in a statement in Abeokuta explained that two vehicles were involved in the accident.
Mrs Okpe said the cause of the accident was as a result of over speeding on the part of the driver who lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the parked truck obstructing the road.
According to her, the accident involved six occupants, where three sustained injuries and have been taken to general hospital Isaara, while the three victims who died on the spot were taken away by their family members.
The FRSC spokesperson therefore cautioned motorists to avoid over speeding and advised them to always concentrate while driving to check other road hazards.
