Motorists along Abeokuta Sango Expressway have their movements stopped for several hours as students of ICT Adegbenro Polytechnic blocked the road to protest the killing of one of them by unknown gunmen.
The protesting students who carry various placards, demand the removal of the Divisional Police Officer in the area whom they alleged did not promptly respond to their distress call when the gunmen struck their hostel at night.
Security personnel along the area are currently pacifying the students to allow passage along the axis.
Ogun state police command spokesman, Mr. Oyeyemi Abímbólá when contacted said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.
