Operation Burst Foils Theft Of Goods Worth Fifty Million Naira

Oyo State Joint Security Task Force, Operation Burst has discovered five hundred and Thirty – five (535) bundles of various sizes of praying mats worth over Fifty Million Naira in Ibadan.

The load was discovered at an undeveloped plot behind a private University on Lagos – Ibadan

Investigations revealed that the goods were offloaded by yet to be identified Truck drivers and some criminal elements.

According to the Director General of Operation Burst, Colonel James Oladipo (rtd), it was discovered that the suspected drivers,currently at large were already making arrangement to dispose the goods to some buyers at giveaway prices.

Meanwhile, efforts to unravel the owner of the goods are yet to yield positive result.

To this end, authority of Operation Burst wishes to inform the general public that anyone, whose trailer loaded with praying mats is reported missing on transit, should contact the Operation Burst Headquarters, Agodi Ibadan with relevant documents to claim the goods.
