Men of Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 43-year-old, Kehinde Oladimeji and his 35-year-old wife Adejumoke Raji for allegedly being in possession of fresh different human parts. 

The couple who resided at number 72, MKO Abiola Way, Leme, Abeokuta were arrested after the Baale of Leme Community, Chief Moshood Ogunwolu, had reported at Kemta Divisional Headquarters that Pastor Adisa Olarewaju informed him of offensive odours coming out from the room of the suspects.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the arrest of the suspect in a statement in Abeokuta.

Mr Oyeyemi explained that the Divisional Police Officer, DPO Kemta Division, Adeniyi Adekunle quickly led his detectives to the scene where a plastic bowl containing fresh different parts of human beings was discovered in the room.

He said the suspects had confessed that they were herbalists, explaining that the human parts comprised hands, breasts and other parts were given to them by one Michael who they claimed resided in the Adatan area of Abeokuta. 

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Lanre Bankole has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, for discreet investigation.
