Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Mr. Abiodun Abdulraheem wants old students associations to collaborate with government in raising the standard of education in the state.
Mr. Abdulraheem stated this at 3rd annual convention of Our Lady of Apostles secondary grammar, old students Association, OLAMIOSA , Ibadan, Oyo state.
He noted that the impact of old students in Schools had greatly improved the education sector.
The National President of the old students association, Mrs Valentina Titi-Solarin said the quest to give back to the school that made them was the reason the association embarked on many projects for Our Ladies of Apostle, Mary way, Ibadan.
Mrs Titi-Solarin urged members of the association to continue to better the lots of the school.
highlight of the event was election of officers that would run the affairs of the association for the next three years.
