Special Adviser to President Mohammadu Buhari on the Ease of Doing Business, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole has called on Nigerians to patronize handmade and authentic local fabrics.

Dr Oduwole made the call when she paid a courtesy visit to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun. 

The Special Adviser said that the Federal Government would encourage makers of indigenous fabrics to scale up their production process and export their fabrics.

She also said that National Development Plan of the federal government would move thirty-five million Nigerians out of poverty by the year 2025.

Responding, Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun represented by The Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi commended the federal government for taking steps to provide shared facility towards up scaling  Adire market in Ogun state.

Governor Abiodun said the step would complement the efforts of his administration towards boosting Adire local fabric and make it a global brand.
