Osun state government says it will not relent in bringing dividends of democracy to the citizens through different impactful programmes and projects.
The state Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola stated this in Ifon, Ilobu and Osogbo while addressing some residents of the area during his visit to royal fathers and residents of Osogbo Federal constituency comprising, Orolu, Olorunda, Osogbo and Ifelodun local governments.
Governor Oyetola said repair of Ilobu-Ifon-Erin-Ilajue road has commenced and will be completed, noting that, his projects spread across the state and emphasized that ‘those who we are still yearning to get government’s attention and presence in their area will get it in no distant time’.
During his visit to Olobu palace, the Olobu of Ilobu Oba Olatoye Olaniyan appealed to Governor Oyetola to assist the town with electricity transformer.
At the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, the monarch commended the governor for respecting traditional institutions urging him to concentrate more on people-oriented programmes.
