Accreditation is ongoing in the Osun Governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The exercise is taking place simultaneously in each of the 332 wards of the state.
When Radio Nigeria visited Osogbo ward at Olutimehin primary school,Laaro, members of the party gathered units by units in search for their names in the party registers, from where they proceeded for accreditation.
The turnout was impressive in some of the wards visited.
Men of the Nigeria Police, the Civil Defence and vigilante groups were on ground at the polling places to provide security, while INEC officials were also located monitoring the exercise.
In an interview with newsmen, the Senate Spokesperson, Senator Basiru Ajibola expressed optimism that party members would be peaceful in their conducts throughout the election.
