Osun State Government has opened the Olaiya Flyover for public use.
At the official opening ceremony, the state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola appreciated motorists and other road users for their patience while the construction lasted.
Governor Oyetola said the road was opened to reduce the hardship being experienced by motorists who had been using alternative routes while the project was ongoing.
He appealed to them to obey traffic rules and take other necessary precautions while using the flyover.
The governor gave assurance that security personnel would be around the area throughout the day.
Some road users including Mr Gasaliyu Sunmibola and Dara Adewumi expressed joy over the development calling on the government to do more impactful projects in the state.
