Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has warned candidates from being extorted by vendors of scratch cards.

Jamb Registrar, Professor Isiaq Oloyede stated this during an assessment tour of some Computer Based Test centres in Ibadan.

Professor Oloyede who advised the students present during the tour not to use the profile of their parents while registering said they must not register beyond the price of 4,700 naira.

Professor Oloyede also cautioned the owners of CBT centres against sharp practices otherwise their licenses would be withdrawn.

Also speaking, Deputy Registrar, University of Ibadan, Mrs Francisca Ayodele said the registration had been going on smoothly all along.

The assessment tour which started from the JAMB office at Idi Ape and ended at the University of Ibadan was to see the level of how the United Tertiary and Matriculation Examination, UTME, registration exercise was being carried out.
