The Bus Rapid Transport driver, Nice Omininikoron who allegedly murdered 22-year-old tailor, Oluwabamise Ayanwola is expected to appear before a Lagos High Court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos on Tuesday, March 22.

It was gathered that the suspect will be arraigned before justice Sherifat Sonaike on a four-count charge of conspiracy, murder and two counts of rape.

The arraignment followed legal advice from the office of the director of public prosecution in the state, Jide Martins, who endorsed his arraignment.

Recall that Bamise went missing after boarding the BRT operated by the Lagos State Government from Chevron in the Lekki area of Lagos en route Oshodi at about 7 pm on Saturday, February 26.

She was on her way to her brother’s place at Ota in Ogun State.

Her corpse was later found dumped by roadside on Carter Bridge via Ologogoro community.

Many Nigerians have condemned and protested over the alleged murder of the promising young girl, demanding justice.
