Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has directed the State Commissioner of Police, the Commander, 35 Artillery Brigade as well as the Director, State Security Service to relocate to Sagamu and fish out those involved in the recent cult activities in the town.
In a statement in Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun also directed all security agencies in the state to intensify efforts to apprehend those behind recent similar cult activities in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The Governor charged security agencies not to leave any stone unturned in their efforts to bring the culprits to book while giving the assurance that his administration would continue to support the agencies.
Governor Abiodun who condemned the dastardly act of the hoodlums which claimed the lives of some people and inflicted injury on others advised all peace-loving residents of Sagamu to cooperate with the security agencies to rid the town and its environs of cultists and other criminal elements.
Governor Abiodun urged the youths, especially the cultists to shun all acts that could bring shame to their parents and put their future in jeopardy.
The Governor also called on parents and guardians to ensure that their children and wards stayed away from crime and criminality, adding that his administration would not tolerate any breach of the peace.
