Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has sworn in nine new Permanent Secretaries and four Principals-General with a call on them to ensure efficient and effective service delivery in their various Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

Speaking at the ceremony held at the Executive Chamber Governor’s Office, Oke Mosan Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun also urged the newly appointed Principal Generals to take necessary steps toward promoting the standard of education in secondary schools across the state.

Governor Abiodun who emphasized that his administration was committed to reforming civil service, said none of the appointees ever lobbied for the positions.

While emphasizing that the new appointees had been found worthy in character and capacity, Governor Abiodun pointed out that they had performed exceptionally well in the Assessment and Evaluation Programme, adding that the era of lobbying in Ogun State Civil Service was over.

He urged the new appointees to see their appointment as a call to greater service as higher dedication was required for the overall development of the state.
